The Soulcalibur 6 season pass added three DLC characters on top of bonus character Tira. Soul Calibur IV - Hilde story modeĮither way, players are having a bit of fun trying to work this all out, and perhaps Bandai Namco, by using what looks like codenames for DLC characters in the game's files, are having a bit of fun, too. Website suggests it could be Hilde from Soulcalibur 4 because she shouts a lot with her moves. Soulcalibur V - X360 / PS3 - Meet Algol, Edgemaster & Soul of Devil Jin!īut what about Yell? Nobody seems to have come up with a plausible solution for this one. Moving on, we're getting into tricky speculation: Star could be Algol because, as some have pointed out, Algol is the name of a star system. Fans suggest Yellow relates to Hwang because his name contains the character for yellow in Hanja, the Korean name for Chinese characters. Soul Calibur 3 - Arcade mode (Lizardman)īut what about the others? Fans reckon Snow could be Setsuka (Soulcalibur 3) because her name means "snow flower". For example, Stone probably refers to the character Rock from the original Soul Edge and Soulcalibur games. Now, here's the fun part: the Soulcalibur community is currently trying to work out who these characters are based on these codenames. These apparent codenames are Stone, Yell, Star, Snow, Reptile and Yellow. In a file that mentions Cassandra and Amy as DLC characters (neither are announced or released as DLC characters yet, although both pop up in the story), six new DLC characters are listed with what look like codenames. Soulcalibur 6 received an update last week and, as expected, dataminers scoured its innards on the hunt for DLC character clues (thanks, EventHubs). See Strategy for a full strategy breakdown. The Soulcalibur 6 community is currently trying to work out who will be released as DLC following a datamine that revealed apparent character codenames. PRP has the added benefit of turning her aGI stances into Resist Impacts and further empowers her Critical Edge, causing it to refund some meter on hit while dealing more damage than empowered RRP CE and retaining the speed of her i12 CE. Once both RRP and WRP are filled, she enters Purple Rose Perception (PRP), Amy obtains the powers of both upgrades. WRP also increases the damage of her i12 Critical Edge. A few new attacks and strings are unlocked. White Rose Perception (WRP) increases the effectiveness of her parries by increasing the speed and length of the active parry window as well as providing additional one-time LHs on select parry stance attacks. You will often see Amy's go only for RRP and ignoring WRP altogether. RRP is widely considered easier to obtain and stronger than White Rose Perception (WRP). Red Rose Perception (RRP) improves her offensive capabilities by granting her new combo tools, improved strings, and a buff to her command dash stance. Each rose that hits builds a point, and once she reaches four points of a color, she receives permanent upgrades based on that color of rose. Some of Amy's moves involve her throwing roses, either red or white.
